Orchard Organics have recently teamed up with Margaret and Abi Weeds to bring you one of the largest and most sophisticated, certified organic body range in the world, called ‘Essential Care’.  Indeed Essential Care makes the only shampoo certified by the Soil Association.  The range includes care for challenged skin, care to cleanse, care for men and most of all care for baby and mum.

The philosophy is simply; to create the purest body care that gives great results and is a joy to use. (This means avoiding all potentially unhealthy ingredients, harsh preservatives and artificial fragrances).

Care for our environment

We have an active commitment to the care of the environment which includes supporting organic farming methods, widely acknowledged to cause lower pollution from sprays, produce less carbon dioxide & dangerous wastes and benefit wildlife.

We choose raw materials which are locally-sourced where possible, are from sustainable and renewable resources, and are recycled safely.  Almost all our packaging is made in the UK in order to minimise air miles.

Ethical, social responsibility

We test the products only on willing human volunteers, not animals and ensure our raw materials suppliers do not either.  In 2006, we won an RSPC award for our commitment to animal welfare. All Essential Care products are suitable for vegetarians and many are suitable for vegans.
